Pykus Therapeutics is a company developing a polymer-based hydrogel that has the potential to circumvent the many complications of retinal surgery. Both co-founders also completed their residencies at the Harvard Medical School-affiliated Massachusetts Eye and Ear (MEE). Pykus began its in-patient trial recently.
